Dashboard Overview

The dashboard is your home base in MyBayad. It gives you a complete picture of your debt situation at a glance.

Dashboard Layout

The dashboard is organized into several key sections:

Summary Cards

At the top, you'll see three main cards:

  • Total Debt - The sum of all your current debts. The trend indicator shows if you're paying down (green arrow) or accumulating (red arrow).
  • Next Payment - Your upcoming payment amount and when it's due. Amber indicates due soon, red indicates overdue.
  • Gab's Insight - A quick tip from your AI assistant based on your current debt situation.

Debt List

Below the summary, you'll see all your debts listed:

  • Debt name and category icon
  • Current balance
  • Monthly interest rate
  • Next due date
  • Progress bar showing payoff progress

Click any debt to see details and record payments.

Quick Actions

The floating action button (FAB) in the bottom right gives you quick access to:

  • Add Debt - Create a new debt entry
  • Record Payment - Log a payment you've made
  • Ask Gab - Open the AI chat assistant

Mode-Specific Views

The dashboard looks different based on your current mode:

Calm Mode

  • Soft green color scheme
  • Celebrates progress milestones
  • Shows long-term projections
  • Gentle, encouraging language

Control Mode (Default)

  • Balanced blue/gray scheme
  • Full analytics and charts
  • All features enabled
  • Clear, actionable language

Crisis Mode

  • Simplified red/white scheme
  • Shows only priority debts
  • Minimal information overload
  • Supportive, non-judgmental language

Navigation

Use the bottom navigation bar to move between sections:

  • Dashboard - Home screen (you are here)
  • Debts - Full list of all debts
  • Analytics - Charts and reports
  • Household - Family collaboration
  • Settings - Account and preferences

Filtering and Sorting

In the debt list, you can:

  • Filter by category - Show only credit cards, loans, etc.
  • Filter by status - Active, paid off, overdue
  • Sort by - Due date, balance, interest rate, name

Refresh Data

Pull down on the dashboard to refresh your data. The dashboard also auto-refreshes when you return to it from other screens.

Tip: Check your dashboard daily to stay on top of upcoming payments. Gab will give you fresh insights each time based on your progress.
