Is MyBayad free?
Yes! MyBayad offers a free plan that includes unlimited debt tracking, Gab AI assistance, and household collaboration. Premium features like advanced analytics and priority support are available with a paid subscription.
Is my financial data safe?
Absolutely. We use bank-level encryption (AES-256) for all data. Your personal information is never sold to third parties, and we never send your PII to AI services. All AI interactions use anonymized data only.
Do I need to connect my bank account?
No. MyBayad works by manual data entry. You add your debts and record payments yourself. This approach ensures complete privacy and works for all types of debt, including informal utang.
What types of debt can I track?
MyBayad supports credit cards, personal loans (bank, SSS, PAG-IBIG, salary loans), BNPL services (GCash, BillEase, Atome, etc.), and informal debts (utang to friends, family, or sari-sari stores).
Can I use MyBayad with my family?
Yes! You can create a household and invite family members. Each person controls their own privacy settings - you can share all debts, share summaries only, or keep certain debts completely private.
What is Gab?
Gab is your AI-powered financial ally built into MyBayad. You can ask Gab questions about your debts in plain language, get personalized payment strategies, and receive emotional support. Gab adapts its communication style based on your selected mode.
What are Emotional Modes?
MyBayad offers three modes: Calm (for stable finances), Control (for active debt management), and Crisis (for overwhelming situations). Each mode adjusts the interface complexity and Gab's communication style to match your emotional needs.
Does MyBayad work offline?
MyBayad requires an internet connection for most features, including Gab AI and household sync. However, you can view your dashboard and debt list with cached data when offline.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Go to Settings > Data > Export to download all your debt data in CSV or JSON format. You own your data and can export it anytime.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data from our servers. If you're a household owner, you'll need to transfer ownership or delete the household first.
Is there a mobile app?
MyBayad is a progressive web app (PWA) that works on any device with a browser. You can install it to your home screen on iOS and Android for an app-like experience.
